A few weeks back now I received an inquiry from a beautiful lady about photographing her baby shower. It was all the way over in Mornington and just a little bit of a hike from Ocean Grove. Our planets just seemed to align and we locked in the booking. After all, who doesn't love a baby shower, in a beautiful location and for a beautiful and excited Mumma to be. A few days later I received a message that mummy to be had her baby girl. A few weeks early, but safe and well.
The long weekend in June always presents something a little special for me. It's the one time of year I offer mini sessions. I'm usually not a fan of winter, so I look for the positives. There is something about the change in season that brings a little along a feeling of change. A fresh start. The crisp cool air, the warm woolley jumpers and vests, to the cute knitted ponchos and who doesn't love a beanie and scarf to accessorise and stay warm in. I love the excitement
These two little guys, my oh my how much they have grown. You kinda forget how quickly time flies by. I last photographed these gorgeous boys when the littlest one was only a few months old. Now, he's almost 2 years old! Crazy how time flies. I met their gorgeous Mumma when she entered a competition I had running with Mum's who love brunch a few years ago. So I was a little excited to hear from her for a follow up session by the beach. We explored, dug holes, found seash
I remember meeting this gorgeous mumma and talking about a session with her little guy 12 months ago! Wowzers, 12 months has passed by so quickly. But a few weeks ago we did catch up for a Mummy and me session on the beach in Ocean Grove. I just love this part of the world and was so excited to do a late afternoon/early evening session on the beach. With the sun starting to lower in the distance and the breeze on the beach, a perfect setting was created. It's fair to say t
I photographed this gorgeous girl a few weeks ago for her yearly photographs. On this lovely weekend I headed off from my usual places in Ocean Grove to a gem of a location full of history in Geelong. Looking through these pictures I can't help but wonder, when did they become such little people? They'll always be our babies, but they just look so much older. I'm convinced it's the first year of school that does it. This little lady is always so smiley and I have so much f
These are just a few of my fav's from a recent family session in the beautiful Barwon Heads on the Bellarine. I am lucky enough to have this gorgeous place just a few minutes from home. I love sharing some of my favourite places with my clients. The reaction is usually, "wow, how gorgeous is this place". I was honoured when these guys asked me back to photograph their extended family, and just like last time it was cold and windy. But they were amazing and had so much fum
Well today is the first official day of spring!! Although you wouldn't have thought it. But lets just pretend it was yesterday! I can't wait to get out there in the warmer weather and capture some of those beautiful warm days. Last week we celebrated the end of winter and a dear friend and I went out exploring for new locations and stumbled across this little beauty on the surfcoast. My fellow explorer even managed to capture a few snaps of me in my element, which is a ra
