June Winter Mini's - Barwon Heads Moonah Walk

The long weekend in June always presents something a little special for me. It's the one time of year I offer mini sessions. I'm usually not a fan of winter, so I look for the positives. There is something about the change in season that brings a little along a feeling of change. A fresh start. The crisp cool air, the warm woolley jumpers and vests, to the cute knitted ponchos and who doesn't love a beanie and scarf to accessorise and stay warm in.

I love the excitement of meeting new families, getting to know who they are and inviting them into our beautiful surroundings that is the Bellarine. Sharing something special about our backyard. There is warm homely feeling in the air. Some say it's the smell of of firewood burning in the homes that have open fires or the smell of wet eucalyptus from the gum tree. Me I like the twinkling lights on the trees lining the quiet streets of Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove at night, especially after coming out of one of my favourite warm restaurants or cafes. Not to mention the deserted beaches that feel like it's just you and the waves.

This is just some of the reasons our Bellarine is so magical and why I embrace the season that is upon us.

Thanks to all the families that came to visit and explored our backyard. I am so excited to share your images and capture some special memories. It was an honour to meet you all.

Until next year xx
