A few weeks ago I had the absolute honour of photographing the christening of a very special baby girl. When her Mumma contacted me to see if I was interested in capturing the christening of her sweet little baby girl, I couldn't refuse.
I photographed her baby shower/baby arrival a few months earlier which was the most beautiful baby shower I had ever seen. Baby G's Mum and I just hit it off right away and I felt like I had known her for years. So of course I couldn't refuse.
I took the two hour drive to the Yerring Gorge Cottages to capture a few pre ceremony moments of baby G. It was the perfect setting. And if you are ever looking for a weekend away, be sure to check them out. Just beautiful.
Baby G was dressed in a the same christening dress worn by her very own mother, making the outfit extra special. Mum had carefully chosen matching accessories that fit just beautifully. We captured a few shots similar to that of Mum when she had worn the dress as a baby girl. It was at that point I realised just how much special and sentimental this day was going to be.
The ceremony was held in the church which has a stained glass window in honour of baby G's grandmother There was so much love for this little girl all around her and I was so blessed to witness it all unfold.
The most perfect setting was where the celebrations followed at The Warehouse at Meletos. Absolutely stunning place and definitely one to add to the must visit list. The finer details that pulled everything together were just exquisite and planned out to make for a perfect day to celebrate with loved ones and of course the guest of honour.
